Start with your essentials

Upgrading an existing system
Adding storage to an inverter you already own is often much cheaper than replacing it. Include the brand and model, and a photo of the unit, in your request.
Installation practicalities
Batteries need dry, ventilated wall space — usually a garage or scullery. Backup circuits are normally split onto a separate essentials board so the rest of the house is unaffected.
